Three weeks after the highway shooting which killed UNI graduate and 4-year Panther softball star, Micalla Rettinger, Waterloo Police Chief, Dan Trelka, says “Someone knows something. We encourage them to come forward.”
As KWWL News reported Monday, some leads in the investigation are coming in, as investigators work to find out what led to the death of Micalla and the wounding of her boyfriend, Adam Kimball, who is recovering.
The Chief’s words echo comments made earlier by the Rettinger family, pleading with the shooter to come forward and explain what happened that early Sunday morning. See earlier story below.
