Police identify woman killed in East Dubuque shooting on Easter

EAST DUBUQUE, Illinois – UPDATE: East Dubuque police confirm 44-year-old Jennifer Miller was killed on Easter.

A press release says she died from a gunshot wound. The release does not say whether or not someone has been arrested.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, possible video, etc. is encouraged to contact the East Dubuque Police Department.


The East Dubuque Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting.

They say this happened at Sinsinawa  and 1st Avenue in the downtown area around 2:45 a.m. No information is being released about the victim or possible suspects at this time.

We do know the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the East Dubuque Police Department. Anyone with information that can help with this case is encouraged to call 815-747-3913.
