NEW YORK (KWWL) – Iowa State’s Bridget Carleton got the call on Monday night. Connecticut selected the Iowa State senior in the second round of the WNBA draft (21st overall).
Carleton finished her Cyclone career with 2,142 points, the second most in program history. She ranks in the top five in five other statistical categories.
After ISU fell on hard times during her junior season, Carleton led the Cyclones back to respectability during her senior campaign. Iowa State finished second in the Big 12 regular season standings and the Big 12 tournament. The Cyclones bowed out to Missouri State in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
