After a beautifully sunny Friday, we will have plenty of clear skies tonight. Some fog may form with light winds.
Plenty of sunshine sticks around tomorrow with highs climbing into the 50s… and could hit 60 in our southern counties.
A strong system tracks toward us beginning Saturday night. This will bring rain showers to the area Saturday night through Sunday night.
Strong storms will stay to the south, and we may not hear any thunder at all in our viewing area. But we could see rainfall amounts up to half in inch in the southern counties. Northern counties will get closer to a quarter inch by the time the system tracks out Sunday night.
Rivers in our viewing area should not be largely affected by this weekend’s rainfall.
Monday’s highs cool down a bit as that system tracks away from us.
We will warm back up later in the week, but we also have another round of rain. Stay tuned to KWWL and KWWL.com for updates.
