IOWA CITY, Iowa (KWWL) – U.S. Representative for Hawaii and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is returning to Iowa City for the second time in February, with two events planned on Thursday.
During the first stop, Rep. Gabbard will meet with veterans at Carpenters Union Hall beginning at 3 p.m.
Later in the evening, Rep. Gabbard will also host a town hall at The Mill on Burlington Street. That event is also free, open to the public and begins at 6:30 p.m.
Rep. Gabbard was also in Iowa City on February 11 as part of a three-city Iowa tour after officially announcing her presidential candidacy in Hawaii at the beginning of the month. She is part of a crowded field of Democratic hopefuls seeking the party’s nomination in the upcoming 2020 election.
