East beats City High 68-48 in 4A Substate opener

WATERLOO,Iowa(KWWL)– In a Boys 4A Substate opener, Waterloo East outscored City High 38-23 in the second half to advance to the semifinal round.  The Trojans were led by Tyrese Nicholson who scored 28 points, Ramir Scott added 19.  East High advances to face Linn-Mar on Friday night at 7 in Marion.
