Temperatures will slowly warm overnight. A warm front will lift north across eastern Iowa tonight into Thursday pushing high temperatures into the 30s during the morning and possible into the early afternoon. A cold front swings through early in the afternoon with a small chance of rain or snow shower. Many locations are not expected to see much, if any precipitation. The wind increase around noon Thursday with gusts to 30 mph from the northwest all afternoon and evening. Some blowing snow is possible in the open country. It remains windy most of Thursday night before diminishing late.
Friday and Saturday colder with highs in the teens and low 20s with dry conditions.
There is a chance of light snow late Saturday into into Sunday. The best chance of accumulating snow right now is going to be south of Highway 20. We will continue to track this snow potential. Still a bit early on exact snow placement and amounts.
