Allegiant now offering nonstop service from Cedar Rapids to Nashville

Allegiant Airlines has announced new services from the Eastern Iowa Airport to Nashville.

The nonstop flights will begin May 17.

To celebrate the announcement, Allegiant is offering fares for the new route for as low as $49 each way.

“We’re very excited to announce this brand new route from Cedar Rapids,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We’re sure area travelers will take advantage of our friendly, nonstop, ultra-low-cost service to enjoy all that Music City has to offer.”

The seasonal flights will operate twice weekly.

“The Eastern Iowa Airport’s relationship with Allegiant started in 2004 with nonstop flights to Las Vegas,” said CID Airport Director Marty Lenss.

Allegiant will now be serving seven cities from the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids.
