Panther women fall to Missouri State

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) — UNI put up a fight against league leading Missouri State, but a late surge by the Lady Bears made the difference in a 63-58 win. Missouri State remained perfect in Missouri Valley Conference competition with the win.

The Panthers led most of the way, but lost that lead late in the third quarter. A big difference came at the free throw line where Missouri State tallied 29 attempts to just one for UNI.

Brice Calip led the Lady Bears with 12 points. Karli Rucker scored 11 for UNI.
