TRACKING: Strong Winds Sunday

It was nice to see a little sunshine today for a couple of hours. It gave the temperatures a boost into the 50s. Overall a pretty decent fall day. If you are heading out to the high school football games this evening, temperatures will drop into the 40s with little to no wind. A mostly cloudy sky might produce a few light showers.

The sky remains mostly cloudy overnight as temperatures drop to near 40 by Saturday morning. The “pick day” of the weekend is Saturday. The wind is light and highs in the mid 50s to low 60s. We will see more clouds than sunshine.

A weak area of low pressure will track southeast and bring a couple of light showers Saturday night. Sunday will have more sunshine, but it will also be cooler and windy. Winds will gusts to 35 mph from northwest during the day and diminish during the evening.

The wind picks back up Monday, but from a southwest direction (warmer direction) and will help push highs close to 60 degrees. Tuesday is also dry with highs near 60.

HALLOWEEN: Mostly cloudy with highs in the low 50s. During the evening hours temperatures drop into the 40s with a NW wind about 5-10 mph.
