The overall weather pattern for this weekend will be dry, with off and on chances for a light rain shower or sprinkles.
The air mass over eastern Iowa is dry, so very little rainfall is expected today. A stray shower is possible this morning, otherwise it will be mostly cloudy throughout the day. High temperatures this afternoon will be in the lower to middle 50s with a variable wind at 5 mph.
Tonight, we will be mainly dry. A few light rain showers are possible overnight, with a light wind and temperatures in the lower 40s. Same deal on Saturday, where a slight chance for a rain shower exists, otherwise it will be mostly cloudy with highs in the middle and upper 50s.
Sunday, another system will impact the area, bringing a slight chance for a few rain showers. The bigger story will be a gusty northwest wind, cooling temperatures down. Wind gusts could be up to 40 mph+.
There’s a slight chance for rain Tuesday, but as of now Halloween look dry.
