The 12th Annual Sullivan Brothers 5K & 10K races will be held Saturday, October 27, and registration is now open.

The Sullivan Brothers 5K and 10K races are intended to serve "as a continuing memorial for those, like the Sullivan Brothers, who have given their lives in service of our country and a celebration of the veterans who served our country and returned home," according to the Grout Museum District.  "We recognize veterans who served so courageously in the United States Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard and their comrades who lost their lives while serving alongside their fellow soldiers."

Registration from September 3 through October 10 for the 5K is $25, and $30 for the 10K.  October 11 through 27, the registration for the 5K is $35, and the 10K is $35.  Proceeds benefit the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum.
